Lauren has worked in education for 13 years, with the last 8 years spent as an ELA classroom teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from UMKC, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Park University. In addition to teaching, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and being Olivia’s mom.

Nayalisa is a native of Chicago (Go White Sox and Bears!), a wife, and a mom/auntie. She is currently the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence and a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Kelly holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology from KU and Clemson. She has over a decade of K-12 teaching experience in KC metro schools and now manages clinical research at the KU Medical Center. She is President of the Kansas Herpetological Society and Co-Boss of Nerd Nite Kansas City.
